How to replace the material of SketchUp models? Introduction of editing materials of Sketchup models in iStructure
1. iStructure supports editing materials of SketchUp models just the same as the 3d models.
- Set the texture in Sketchup

- Click [material editor] for more texture options

- Select the component to replace another material

- You can rotate/offset/scale the model with the tool bar on the right if needed.

2. Currently iStructure do not support Vray material of SketchUp models. The reflection of the default SketchUp material cannot be edit in both Sketchup or iStructure, therefore the material will have strong reflection in iStructure.

If you want to use the vray material to be more realistic you need to uplaod vray mapping in iStructure.

- Click material editor - my account - upload material
- Select the material images (less than 5MB, RGB mode) from the computer and select the category.

3. The default texture size is connected to the setting in SketchUp model, so users need to confirm the material size in SketchUp before uploading.

When you set the texture size to be 100mm in SketchUp models, other materials will be 100mm when you replace the texture.

The maximum texture size will be what is shown below (Scale the texture):
